# Roadmap

> What is shipped, what is in progress, and what BETTER plans to release next.

  Roadmap dates are soft targets and can change when needed.

  As of 6 March 2026, the **Terminal closed beta** is the only BETTER product that is live today.

## In progress

### First BETTER vault

The first vault is still targeted for **Q1 2026**. The current launch direction is:

* one initial vault first
* fixed-term and high-risk structure
* deposit windows rather than always-open deposits
* batched withdrawals
* no partial withdrawals at first launch
* Polymarket-first execution before broader venue expansion

### Vault infrastructure and safeguards

* staking-enabled vault access for qualifying `$BETTER` holders
* fixed drawdown tolerance and fractional Kelly sizing in the strategy layer
* independent vault audit work as soon as practical before or around launch

## Planned next

### Planned vault expansion

* `vBETTER` receipt tokens for future vaults
* more specialized vaults over time, including market-type strategies such as sports, weather, and politics
* future receipt-token liquidity and transferability once the vault product is stable

### Planned market expansion

* Kalshi integration
* Opinion integration

### Planned business lines

* business-to-business prediction-market data ingestion products
* an in-house open-source prediction-market model distributed through OpenRouter API credits

## Access ratchet milestones

BETTER uses a permanent ratchet system for access thresholds.

When a new fully diluted valuation all-time high is reached, the lower threshold becomes the new permanent threshold and does **not** move back up later if FDV falls.
