# Terminal

> What is live in BETTER today: closed beta Polymarket signals, context, and one/two-click copy trading.

## Overview

The Terminal is BETTER's live product today.

It is a closed beta interface for discovering high-alpha Polymarket signals, reviewing the context behind those signals, and placing one/two-click copy trades.

<Note>
  As of 6 March 2026, the Terminal is live in closed beta. Vaults and `vBETTER` are not live yet.
</Note>

## What you can do today

* view live signal context for Polymarket opportunities
* review wallet-level signal scoring and market context
* place one/two-click copy trades
* monitor position and market state inside the Terminal

## Funding flow

1. Log in and pass the current `$BETTER` access check
2. Open the **Wallet** tab
3. Choose a supported source chain
4. Fund with USDC through the UDA flow powered by Enclave.money
5. Trade with balances that become usable as `USDC.e` on Polygon

BETTER currently supports funding from **Ethereum mainnet** and **Base mainnet**.

## Trade flow

* users need gas on the source chain to fund the Terminal
* Terminal trade placement itself is gas-sponsored by Polymarket
* copy trading means one/two-click replication of supported signals

## Data surfaces

* **Signal feed:** the live stream of supported opportunities
* **Signal context:** wallet score, liquidity context, and trade thesis
* **Trade flow:** the actions the user can place from the Terminal itself

## Access requirements

Terminal access is gated by `$BETTER`.

* a qualifying stake still counts for Terminal access
* access is checked per wallet and per session
* if a user only qualifies with liquid `$BETTER` and sells below the threshold during a session, the session can time out

See [Tokenomics](/token/tokenomics) for the current threshold bands.

## Lite Mode

Lite Mode is an optional Terminal-only mode.

* it halves the standard Terminal access requirement
* it does **not** change future vault requirements
* it charges a **2% fee on the nominal value of each filled Terminal copy trade**
* the fee is charged per fill, not at market resolution

## Current access and compliance notes

* Terminal access currently does **not** require KYC
* the current closed beta does not use geo-blocking
* the docs and the app are the source of truth for the current gate

## Important caveats

<Warning>
  Copy trades do not guarantee equal fills, equal timing, or equal performance.
</Warning>

Market disputes, oracle disputes, or Polygon queues can also delay final market resolution. In some cases this can take roughly **30 minutes to 2 hours**.

## When to use the Terminal

Use the Terminal if you want live trade context and a faster copy-trading workflow today.

Use future vaults, once live, if you want BETTER to manage the execution for you instead.
