# Product Overview

> What BETTER is today, what is still coming, and how the current user flow works.

## Overview

BETTER is a token-gated access layer for prediction-market trading.

Today, the live product is the **Terminal closed beta** for Polymarket signal discovery and one/two-click copy trading. Future vaults use the same access layer for automated strategies.

  As of 6 March 2026, the Terminal is live in closed beta. Vaults and `vBETTER` are still in progress.

## Who uses BETTER

* **Active users today:** traders who want live signal context and fast copy-trading tools
* **Future passive users:** depositors who want automated vault exposure once vaults launch

## The current live flow

| **1. Access** | The user logs in and Privy checks whether the wallet meets the current `$BETTER` requirement |
| **2. Fund**   | The user selects a supported source chain and funds through a UDA powered by Enclave.money   |
| **3. Route**  | Funds become usable as `USDC.e` on Polygon for Polymarket trading                            |
| **4. Trade**  | The Terminal shows signal context and allows one/two-click copy trading                      |
| **5. Expand** | Future vaults use the same gating and funding foundation for automated strategies            |

## Live now vs planned

## Supported flow today

* **Funding chains:** Ethereum mainnet and Base mainnet
* **Execution venue:** Polymarket on Polygon
* **Wallets:** Rabby, MetaMask, Phantom, Brave Wallet, and WalletConnect-compatible wallets
* **Gas:** users need gas on the source chain to fund; Terminal trade placement is gas-sponsored by Polymarket

## Access and staking

* The Terminal is gated by `$BETTER`
* Future vaults will require staking the same qualifying amount
* If a user has already staked that qualifying amount for vault access, that same stake still counts for Terminal access

## Why BETTER exists

BETTER is built around a simple idea: prediction markets may settle on facts, but execution still favors users who can move quickly and manage cross-chain friction. BETTER tries to reduce that friction by combining token-gated access, funding infrastructure, signal context, and faster trade execution in one flow.
