# Introduction

> Status of BETTER developer surfaces and what is planned next.

## Status

BETTER does not have a public, complete developer API reference yet.

As of 6 March 2026, BETTER's live focus is the Terminal closed beta rather than a public developer platform.

## What is planned later

Future developer documentation may include:

* Terminal and vault telemetry once those surfaces stabilize
* strategy and signal metadata where BETTER decides it can be exposed safely
* on-chain indexing guidance
* future documentation for BETTER's planned prediction-market model distribution through OpenRouter

## What to use for now

Until a public API reference is published, use:

* the BETTER app for current product behavior
* on-chain data for verifiable contract-level activity

If you have an integration request, reach out through BETTER's official **X** or **Telegram** channels listed in the docs footer.

## Scope note

When the BETTER developer surface goes live, it will be documented separately from BETTER's future OpenRouter model distribution so builders can clearly tell the difference between product telemetry and model-access products.
